Healthy Lunchtime Challenge
Children ages 8 to 12 are asked to submit recipes for a healthy and appetizing lunch that contains a member of each food group: fruit, vegetables, whole grains, protein, and dairy. The winning students and their parents could win a trip to Washington D.C. as well as a ticket to a Kids "State Dinner" at the White House.

One World Education invites middle school and high school students to submit essays on culture, local, and global issues. From these essay submissions, twelve students are selected to become One World Student Ambassadors.

Panoramio Geotagged Photo Contest
Every month Panoramio, a Google application, holds a photo contest. There are typically four different categories each month, and the photo that receives the most votes (from other Panoramio users) wins the category. The winner of each category receives an USB GPS Travel and Sports Logger and an USB drive as well as bragging rights. There is also a prize for the runner up and five honorable mentions.

This annual contest cosponsored by Trend Micro and the International Bullying Association asks anyone thirteen years old or older to create and submit a video on internet safety. The Grand Prize is $10,000 and 6 Runner-up prizes of $1,000 each will be awarded.
